Curiosity Posts can be a game changer when launching your business!

People are nosy by nature so when you have a “secret” they want to know the scoop!

Creating a curiosity post before you announce that you’ve joined Farmasi will generate curiosity which will lead to more engagement when you announce.

HOMEWORK: Review the branding worksheet below, and jot down some notes to answer the three questions it asks.  

COLOR MATCHING

Time to start learning how to color match!  In this video, Melissa is going to share with you some helpful tips on color matching.  You can also head to the trainings section of this website to watch more trainings on the topic of color matching or search the Team Luminous Facebook Group! And until you feel comfortable color matching on your own, you can share your new customers’ selfie photos with your sponsor (in the team chat), and she can help you select the correct colors for your gal.

HOMEWORK: Ask 2 friends/ family members to send you selfies and give it a shot! Remember, use the swatch pictures in the Team Luminous group to help and send them to your team chat for advice.

CUSTOMER CARE/ follow ups

So now that you’ve color matched someone, it’s time to welcome them as a new customer!  Remember, the first time someone purchases from you does not really make them a “customer”... yet.  Someone who buys the makeup once is just a one-time product-trier.  But once a person returns to purchase again and again, then you can know that you have a happy returning customer!  

Check out this clip by Daphne as she discusses some great ways you can nurture your first-time customer, so that they becomes a customer for life!

HOMEWORK: Copy verbatim (or, if you want, copy and tweak the new-customer personal email) so you have it ready to send out for each customer!  Keep it in a separate “Farmasi” folder in your email or just keep a copy in drafts section or on a note on your phone or computer. Every time you get a new customer, copy that email/ fb message and paste it into a new message to welcome your new customer to the tribe.  

New Customer Message:

“Hi! Just wanted to let you know your Farmasi order is in and on it’s way shortly! Thank you again for shopping with me.  I hope you love the products as much as I do!

*optional: Here is a quick little clip as a reminder how to use your new makeup: *insert link to one of your tutorials here*

You can log back in to your Farmasi account anytime at farmasi.com (if you created their account, include their username and password) You can also text, call, or email me anytime you need more product and I can be sure it gets out to you from my end.

Have a great day and Thanks again!”

(Pro tip: It’s also recommended that after you send this email to your new customer, take a minute to personalize the message slightly with a note at the top such as “It was so great getting together today!  I loved hearing all about your vacation and catching up!” Don’t forget to include your contact info at the bottom.)

Follow Up Message (after delivered):

“Hey! I see you got your package, just wanted to check in and see how you are liking your new makeup and if you have any questions. :)

Follow Up Message (2 weeks, 4 weeks, and on…)

“Just checking in to see if you’re still liking your makeup! Hope you have a great day!”

Congratulations!  You’ve completed Team Luminous’ new artist training!  It is a lot of work investing in yourself and in your own education.  We are proud of you for completing this process!

Don’t forget that when you enroll a new influencer to your team, definitely take the time to direct them to this training (and the onboarding group) when they begin.  Be available for them to help answer questions, and help them celebrate as they complete their lessons with shout-outs and recognition posts!

HOMEWORK:  Send a message to your sponsor to let her know you’ve completed your new influencer training so she can do a shout-out and recognize you on the team page!  This is just the beginning!
